Dear members of the design community,
Since its beginnings in Québec 18 years ago, the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards has grown into a recognized international competition. Open to participants worldwide since 2020, it has quickly become a global platform to discover, celebrate, and promote excellence in design, architecture, landscape, and the built environment.
This year, we are introducing a renewed structure and spirit—reflected in our communications, in the style of our Galas, and in the very format of the awards.
Among the most notable changes: the end of the Top 50 ranking, and the return to a strong and clear approach—one single Grand Winner per category. This elevates the prestige of each distinction and reaffirms the excellence of the winning project.
The Galas themselves have also been reimagined—more dynamic, more unifying—culminating in the unveiling of the Awards of the Year. Finalists will be revealed throughout the evening, creating a shared and memorable highlight. More than an event, it is a true showcase of the world’s best in design.
Design evolves, transforms, and reinvents itself. So do we. We look forward to welcoming you to this new chapter.
