This year, the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards introduce a new discipline that highlights the practices shaping design and architecture.

The Firms & Studios discipline recognizes the excellence of a practice as a whole, rather than a single project. It is open to architecture and design firms and studios, landscape architecture and lighting design practices, as well as companies that play an active role in design process.

Participants are invited to submit the projects that best represent their practice and vision. A selection of 5 to 7 projects from the past ten years will allow the international jury to evaluate the quality and coherence of the portfolio, innovation, the impact of the work, sustainability considerations, and the culture of the practice.

This new discipline aims to highlight the teams behind projects that shape our built environment, and to recognize the practices that contribute to advancing design and architecture.

FIRM OF THE YEAR

Recognizes the sustained excellence of a firm or studio through its body of work and its influence in the field of design and architecture.

CATEGORIES:

• Small practice (1–10 employees)

• Medium practice (11–49 employees)

• Large practice (50+ employees)

EMERGING PRACTICE

Recognizes firms and studios distinguished by a strong vision and an innovative approach.

This distinction is open to practices founded within the past ten years.
